Ebay is the internet's number one marketplace and finding a bargain on Ebay can help you to save money for yourself or to acquire goods that you can sell on for a better price.

There are many different ways to find an eBay bargain, but many people never think of doing this. A lot of the time it is just a case of using common sense. In this article I will show you how to find bargains on ebay.

1. Shopping on eBay is no different to shopping elsewhere. Supply and demand dictate price. The best time to buy a winter jacket is in the summer. The best time to buy a garden table is in the winter. Buying off season gives you the opportunity to pick up some great bargains.

Generally speaking people who are selling stuff in the off season are in more {likely to accept a lower offer. They could be doing this because they need money, they are cleaning up around the house, or they might be moving and want to get rid of things they are no longer using. You can take advantage of this to either save money for yourself or to build yourself an inventory that you can sell at the right time of year for a better price.

2. Along those same lines think end of season. A store has a sale to get rid of inventory they do not want to bring in fresh stock of in season products. People who sell online at eBay are no different. They are in the business of making money and they know the power of having a just in time inventory. Although you may not find as good of prices as off seasons, end of season pricing goes down and offers you a chance to save some money as well.

3. As you search be aware of last minute bargains. Look for auctions that are ending today and display the results listed first. Look for items that have no bids, or very few bids and are about to end. With everything there is to bid on eBay there are always bargains that get past even the best eBay bargain hunters.

4. If you do not mind spending some time you can find eBay bargains by searching for items that are misspelled. Many people who sell items on eBay are not good at spelling or typing. An item that is listed with spelling errors will not be searched as often as one with correct spelling. This gives you a good chance to get a bargain because you may be the only one bidding on it.

For example, if you are looking for a coffee maker try using multiple misspellings. Cofee, Coffe, Caufee, etc. can bring up some surprising results. Alternatively, read on for a free tool that you can use to quickly and easily find misspellings on eBay.

These are just 4 ideas to keep in mind when searching for a bargain on eBay. Doing this may take some additional time, but it can be fun and profitable for you as well.
